so thick and soft - what a pleasure for the feet.

Do Not Like
I bought this rug set due to the high customer ratings.
Amazon service, packing, and shipping were all Five Stars, as usual.
I am disappointed with these rugs, no way they are worth the $40.
Appearance was the first disappointment. Straight out of the box, they looked sightly matted and clumpy. The checkerboard pattern was poorly defined.
I decided to try washing them, to see if that improved the appearance.
These rugs shed more lint in the washer and drier than anything I have ever seen! See my uploaded photos.
That said, they do look better after a cold water wash, and a drier damp dry (per label instructions). Unfortunately, as is common with bath rugs, they do pack down with the very first foot step.
Also, they come with a warning tag that says "Flamable. Fails US Department of Commerce Standard FF2-70."
I've bought rugs much less expensive than these, that did not have that fire hazard tag.
Plush...but not durable
I agree with other reviews that these are really soft and have a deep shag rug nap to them, so that was nice...until I washed them. They lost a lot of that thickness and shed big blue "furballs" everywhere! I put them in the washer on a normal setting (and didn't put them in the dryer) but I ended up shaking them out on the back porch with tufts of blue fibers flying around me.
