Love the color
I love the color of these rugs and the price is great. I purchased them to go by a door and they are too thick for that - however I think they would be GREAT bath rugs - as advertised.

I am always looking for cute rugs for my bath room so that I can change them out and I really loved these rugs!!
Unhappy in Tennessee
My wife washed these BEFORE they were put in our bathroom and they have ruined our dryer! Brown color has built up inside and we may have to get another dryer. We hope we can get our money back because we sure don't want something we can't wash. AWEFUL PRODUCT!!!!!

High quality, but colors are different than pictured...
I really do love these rugs - they are well made, soft (feel great on the feet!), and the colors are really nice. However, the picture used for the "New Willow" green does not depict the colors of what you actually get. I fell in love with the pictured rugs, since the green in them looked like a bright moss or deep chartreuse. The darker "pebbles" in the picture appeared to be a dark gray. Someone really upped the contrast before they posted this pic, because the green turned out to be a much lighter, spring green; the "olive-brown" is more like a light tannish-gray. Still, they are very attractive rugs and I'm happy enough with them to rate 5 stars. Like the other reviewer, my cat is in love with these rugs and rubs on them all day long! :^)

Oh and one more tip, make sure you pay attention to the actual measurements listed in the description. The small rug is only slightly smaller than the large. Like the colors, the proportions you see in the picture are not very...

This rug broke my washing machine
I was very happy with the look and feel of these rugs (made in India) but when I put it in the washing machine (following care instructions, of course) so many threads came out that they plugged up the outlet hose. We were able to pull out many fistfuls of large cotton yarn manually, but in the end still had to call a plumber. So the rug really cost me $119. Ironically the rug still looks good- you can't even see where the yarn came from! Now i have to figure out how to wash it, since I won't put it back in the machine. I guess I'll take it down to the stream and beat it with rocks.

these are really nice
so thick and soft - what a pleasure for the feet.
We really like them and you can wash them in your own washer - don't need
a big commercial one.

Do Not Like
I bought this rug set due to the high customer ratings.

Amazon service, packing, and shipping were all Five Stars, as usual.

I am disappointed with these rugs, no way they are worth the $40.

Appearance was the first disappointment. Straight out of the box, they looked sightly matted and clumpy. The checkerboard pattern was poorly defined.

I decided to try washing them, to see if that improved the appearance.

These rugs shed more lint in the washer and drier than anything I have ever seen! See my uploaded photos.

That said, they do look better after a cold water wash, and a drier damp dry (per label instructions). Unfortunately, as is common with bath rugs, they do pack down with the very first foot step.

Also, they come with a warning tag that says "Flamable. Fails US Department of Commerce Standard FF2-70."

I've bought rugs much less expensive than these, that did not have that fire hazard tag.
Plush...but not durable
I agree with other reviews that these are really soft and have a deep shag rug nap to them, so that was nice...until I washed them. They lost a lot of that thickness and shed big blue "furballs" everywhere! I put them in the washer on a normal setting (and didn't put them in the dryer) but I ended up shaking them out on the back porch with tufts of blue fibers flying around me.
