Bath Mats
Mats are very thick and absorb water well. Have washed several times and apppear to be wearing quite well. Would recommend if your deciding to purchase them.

Plush and comfortable on the feet; easy to wash
Previously, I used bathroom rug sets in my bathrooms, but too many of them fell apart in the washing machine. I tried a bath mat and loved its washability, but wasn't soft on my feet. These mats are thick and comfortable under my feet. I love them.

Disappointed
After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to the bath mats being high quality. Unfortunately, after just one wash --the seams fell apart and the material started to tear on the sides. They are very thick, but small and not well made. Not recommended.
Pretty but don't last
I received these two mats on September 6, 2012. I started using them last week on September 13, 2012. Today, September 21, 2012 I washed them and the sides shredded. I bought the plum and they were very pretty and felt nice but they only lasted me a week and I am very disappointed in them. I thought they were going to be a nice quality but they aren't.

Okay for the price
I bought this set and another set from Blue Nile Mills to compare the products. I was searching for a large cotton bath sheet, and hadn't found any decent ones in the local stores, at a reasonable price. In fact, some that I had bought and tried (one was Nautica) immediately had loops pulled, runs, and hem coming undone just after the initial washing (prior to actual use) on a gentle cycle! By comparison to Nautica, this towel was definitely more plush, softer, thicker, and dried faster. However, after the initial washing, I did find a few pulled loops. In comparison to the Blue Nile, I'd go with Blue Niles for softness, plush factor, and overall condition after washing. I still think this is a good quality towel though, so I'm keeping it. Consider getting the Blue Niles version on Amazon though as they are about the same price.

Pure luxury
These bath sheets are so soft to the touch. Just wrapping one around you and the wetness disappears. They are very heavy and extremely soft. As with all bedding/towels I first washed it in cold water and dried it on very low heat. It was so soft when it came out of the dryer that I could have just wrapped it around me and fallen asleep on my bed. If you are looking for a bath sheet towel this is definitely the one you want.
Marvelous
I'm a big guy and have wanted a BIG towel for a long time. These are very nice, very big and priced right.

not absorbent
I purchased these after 20 years of not having new towels. I wanted something really soft, but also absorbent. They are soft, but not at all absorbent. After 6 washes, they are still "linting" all over us, & just smearing the water around. Everyone in the house is complaining about them, and we definitely don't want to put lotion on after using them, cuz that just makes it more obvious that we are covered in brown fuzz. I would recommend buying something else.

Great Towels
I bought these towels a couple of months ago for my newly remodeled bathroom. I found these towels to be rich in color, heavy (in a good way), good-sized, fluffy and quite absorbent. I thoroughly researched towels not only from Amazon but from other companies online to ensure that I got the best towels for the money. I also took the time to read lots of reviews to see the pros and cons of the various towels. After all that, I decided to purchase these towels. I have not been disappointed.

I noticed that in some of the reviews for these towels, there were complaints regarding the absorbency. In reading the aforementioned reviews from various companies' websites, I learned a trick to significantly improve the absorbency of ANY towel. Do NOT (in bold!) use any form of softener. Just wash the towels and throw them in the dryer with nothing else. They dry fluffy and absorb all the water off your body beautifully.

The only reason I gave these towels four stars...
nice set of towels
The color is true to the pic; very nice. They feel nice, but I've had some that are more absorbent (thus 4, not 5 stars);Shipping was very prompt.
