Nice robe
Very nice robe purchased for special someone. Delivered promptly at a reasonable price. Very comfortable and appears high quality. Should last a long time, will purchase again when needed
Great Summer Robe/Coverup
I really like this spa robe. It's a good robe for the summer and it washes up nicely. When I get a stain on it I just spray a pre-wash stain remover product on it and put it through the wash and the stain is gone when I get it out of the dryer. I would be interested in a robe of even lighter weight from this garment company. I live in a hot climate.

Great Towel
I used towels like this when I was in Europe and fell in love with them. They do an excellent job of drying, much better than the thick terry towels we are used to. Also, once hung on the rack, they dry very quickly. I love to take them camping or to the beach, no more damp towels to contend with!

Lightweight!
I love the towels. They are very absorbent, I still use a terry cloth towel for my hair because it just works a little better. They dry very quickly in the clothes drier and that is why I bought them, I'm trying to decrease my carbon footprint.

Different than expected
These towels are the size stated. They are serger-finished on all four sides, as expected. The color is bright white. The fabric is waffle weave, but it is not deep compared to the Fina microfiber towels, which are a little more expensive, but MUCH better quality. They are also thinner and have less body - the hand of the fabric is sort of slinky and it drapes into soft folds. They tend to slide out of place on towel bars. The kicker for me is that the finish is shiny. I intend to embellish these towels with machine embroidery and lace, and believe that decoration may make them look less like something that belongs in the garage. If the decoration doesn't do the trick I will use them as padding in dish draining mats. They are not so bad that I would return them, but I would not purchase these again.

Love it.
I wear this in my always too hot bathroom while I put on my make up. It's so much cooler and lighter than a bathrobe and stays on perfectly. I am about a size 12/14 and it fits great without showing anything. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know if it will shrink or not.

Other reviewer didn't know what these towels were
Granted the description doesn't mention that these aren't your typical American fluffy towels, but these towels are awesome. When I traveled through Italy last summer, these were the type of towels they had. They air dry quickly, and they are just a breath of fresh air during the summer months. I love these towels and always scour American stores hoping they'll catch on here and be available locally. I wish they would become more popular and the price would go down.

Better late than never...
I cannot believe I ordered these towels in November of 2009 and am writing about them now, in January 2013. I purchased these because I used towels like these years ago in Italy and loved them. My husband now hates to use any other towels and will even take one with us when we travel. It is rather like drying off with a dishcloth- and what works for drying dishes works for drying people, too! I have four of the bath sheets and two hand towels- they are still in fantastic condition and are not showing any signs of wear. They dry so quickly that they do not get "musty" as quickly as regular bath towels will. I only wish I could get them in more colors!
European Approach - Thin but Super Absorbant
A previous reviewer expressed a lot of disappointment with these towels, but they're actually really nice. They are not your fluffy American towels, but instead are thin yet super-absorbant, with little waffle-like chambers to soak up the drops. The bath towels are generously sized, almost bath-sheet sized. The hand towel is large, too.

Luxurious and practical
European-style waffle weave cotton bath towels are hard to find and often very expensive. While some people like thick, plush terry, others prefer the thinner and brisker spa-style waffle weave. This bath sheet is well made of first-quality fabric, and very generously sized. Waffle-weave towels should be washed before the first use so the waffles will pucker to the correct texture, perfect for a gently stimulating rubdown after bath or shower. These towels dry more quickly than terry, wear well over repeated washings, and store in less space. I've paid a good deal more for waffle weave towels of lesser quality--when I could even find them. After much searching, I was delighted to finally find this excellent towel available at such a reasonable price. If you want a thick, plush, velvety towel, this isn't for you; but if you like spa towels, you'll be well pleased.

Best bath towel I've ever had
I'll never go back to a heavy, difficult to control bath towel again. These towels are very high quality, and I've had some waffle weave towels for more than 20 years. They get a little gray over time, and the 100% cotton continues to shrink down in size. Luckily, these towels are generously sized to start with.
Great towels
I absolutely love these. They don't feel soft in the same way a regular towel does but they work so much better to get water off you. The larger version is really too large but the medium size is perfect for me to use as a regular towel.

Not sure how good it would be as a hair towel.
