Soft and fluffy!
Great towels...I am always anxious about purchasing towels on line as I like towels that are fluffy and absorb the moisture from my hair and body. These are great, but not so bulky that they are hard to maneuver! I wasn't wild about the colors (sort of a sage green), but I don't have a BH&G bathromm anyway!!

Sage Towel Set
These towels were quite a bit brighter than the picture. Not exactly what I would call "sage". Since the color did not go with my bathroom decor I decided to return. The seller was great working with me since they were not exactly what I was expecting.

Great for guest towels or regular use
I dye my hair red, and the color gets on everything. So I only use old towels, sometimes in rag-like condition, because I don't want to mess them up. I got these to use as guest towels, but it's going to be difficult to keep my mitts off of them and not use them myself. They are thick, soft and absorbent. You get 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. It's not quite like rubbing velvet on your skin, but I have had some scratchy towels in my day, and these are anything but. The package is easy to open, and it's easy to untie the ribbon. From there just hang them, wash them, or whatever you need. I hung these up straight out of the package to get pictures for my review. I'll probably wash them later to fluff them up a bit and get the wrinkles out from the original folds. I think they're a great value. I like them so much that I'm getting a second set in blue for the other bathroom. Fantastic for guest or decorative towels that you may want to keep for yourself.

Towels not soft
For the price, these towels are not so soft. Very disappointed in the thickness as well. Taught me a lesson: I cannot purchase towels online. The touch, feel, etc is too important to me.

If you can past the lint stage, they aren't too bad
These towels are wonderfully oversized, soft, and absorbent. The one con, and for me it is a big one, is that they shed an enormous of lint. This is after two machine washings and dryings. They appear to hold their color well. After toweling off, there is a good amount of lint left in the tub, and some that clings to the body.

excellent towels
nice big water absorbent towels! of course, i haven't had them long enough to test durability, though they FEEL durable. but, i don't care. i only use 1 (of the 4 i ordered) at a time. if it starts shredding up, i just get one of the others to take it's place. i'm satisfied.

Great for decorative or regular use!
These blue towels are a little different from the taupe set offered by the same seller. The decorative blue trim and stripes stand out a lot more on these, and it's just nicer looking than the other set. You will get some lint in the dryer then you wash them, but the come out looking and feeling luxurious. I've uploaded a photo of the laundered towels so you can see how they look. Unfortunately you can't feel them on your computer, but I can assure you that they are very soft and absorbent. The decorative side is like velvet, and the other side is like a very soft, regular terry towel. This set will be great for decorative display or for everyday use. I'm very happy with these towels, and I think you will be as well.

Very nice towels
I just received these towels today and they are really very nice. I am very happy with them. I washed them immediately, because of the plastic, and they came out of the wash as nice as they went in.

I just received these towels and they are not "smooth," they are lined! I wanted basic white towels with no vertical grooves in them. The picture is not what you get. However, they are nice towels and the price is right. I'll keep them.

Beautiful
I own a Bed and Breakfast and strive to offer my guests the highest quality bed and bath linens. These towel sets are beautiful, well stitched, soft and fluffy and the lace trim puts these towels in a class all by themselves. I just received them a week ago and have already washed them several times after guests use them and they are perfect. These towels get a lot of use so I wash them on the gentle cycle in cold water with laundry detergent and just a small amount of bleach to retain their beautiful snow white color. I'm very picky and these towels are five star!

Fantastic Towels
These are the best towels my wife and I have ever used. They are fully equal to high end hotel towels. We have had some problems in the past with Eqyptian cotton towels that felt slippery rather than soft and absorbent, so we try to buy towels made of other types of cotton. These towels are made of Turkish cotton, which we had not tried before, and they are advertised as 700 grams per square meter. Having nothing better to do with my time, I did weigh them and they do weigh about 700 gsm.

They are definitely the thickest towels we have ever bought, and they are very absorbent.

Thick, luxurious, fabulous towel set!
In one word - WOW! I bought these towels because I needed to match a duvet cover and sheet set in our master bedroom, which is attached to the master bath. They looked like they should be nice, based on the fact that they were a long staple Turkish cotton. These towels aren't just suitable - they're incredible! They're very thick and extremely soft, quite possibly the nicest towels I've ever owned! I thought they were a bit pricey when I placed the order, but now that they're here and I've used them? WELL worth the price! I think I'll buy another set in another color!
Very luxurious at an affordable price
It seems strange, reviewing a towel, but here we are! These towels are leaps and bounds better than just about anything you'll find at a bix box store like Target. I'd say they're even better than anything you can buy at Bed Bath & Beyond, and cheaper at that. Just like it says in the product details, each set contains 2 of each type of towel, which is perfect. I bought 2 sets, meaning I got 4 of each type. They take a couple of wash cycles to "break in" and get rid of a lot of the fuzzies and also greatly improve their absorbency. You're welcome to take them out of the box and use them right away - they're INCREDIBLY soft - but they won't soak up much water and you might get lint all over you, so you're best off following instructions.

Bottom line: great value, fantastic quality, excellent color tones (I purchased brown) and they seem like they'll hold up for years of twice-a-day use. Treat yourself and get these!

Be aware or should I say BEWARE!! The Kassatex bath set sheds lint like crazy!! I washed them in the normal setting before using as I do everything I purchase, and I had to clean the dryer lint filter three times during the drying cycle. Be cautious about your dryer and do not mix with any other items for at least the first washing and drying. I have found from experience that this is a characteristic common to products from Turkey and India. Hopefully, the shedding will diminish. The bath set is nice, I enjoy using them, the colors are pretty (I purchased three) and I like them a lot. I am not sure yet about colorfastness as I've only washed them once.

I kind of coveted getting these towels
Coveting towels?
I am afraid so.
I just had an immediate liking and wanting for these towels.
It was beyond my control....I just really liked them.
.
I still do. BUT....Butt....I ordered the color "BRICK" and as advertised that there is a "reddish brick" .... no two ways about that.
Now what I actually GOT....was NOT this Reddish Brick" color....rathe mine are sort of a medium strong reddish salmon color.
Two different animals for sure.
NOW....it does happen that I actually do like this strongly subdued version and is not a real problem for me personally.
However....someone else might not be so forgiving in the laxness of the visual actual color they get.
I will post an image on the product listing of the color discrepancy.
No huge thing but I was surprised and others should be aware of this.
On the other hand.....I really like these towels....and will buy more if they in fact hold up well as expected.
