With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Good Value / Good Towel
I bought some of these for Christmas last year as my wife complained she wanted to swap out all of our bath linens w/ white ones so we could bleach the heck out of them and keep them clean. I looked at "good" towels and almost swallowed my tongue at the price. I'm a guy...I'll use an old shirt to dry off after a shower...or even drip-dry if necessary. So, I ordered these with mediocre expectations. So far - the wife and I have been pleased with them. They're basically the same kind of towel you'd get at a Holiday Inn or equivalent hotel/motel. I recently ordered another bundle of the bath towels and some hand towels and wash cloths. If you have money to burn and need designer, 3-gajillion-thread-count towels...these are not the towels for you. If you want a decent, durable white towel to dry off with after the shower - hit "add to cart".

Thats what I thought. Until I ordered a set of these Martex and a set of the "all of the above" towels. These towels are a great price and a great towel. I feel robbed by spending all that money on the fancy high-priced rayon/bamboo towels.
The Martex are thick and heavy. Soft, but not super-soft. I found out that I don't really like the "super-soft." It's akin to going to a really fancy restaurant and ordering piece of meat with a fancy name and you find out you would have been better off saving $$ and going to get a good old-fashioned juicy steak at your favorite place.
Plain, durable white towels made with honest craftsmanship, at a reasonable price
My goal was to purchase plain, durable white towels made with honest craftsmanship at a reasonable price. To me, the idea of a 'hospitality towel' translated that perfectly.
We purchased (12) bath towels and (12) hand towels, and so far are extremely pleased.
When initially contemplating the purchase of these towels, I had a variety of concerns based on some of the feedback/comments I found here. I'd like to address those in an effort to be helpful to others.
One poster made some comments that these towels were rough and/or not soft enough. That spurrned an brief inter-family debate with my wife, who immediately complained that she 'didn't want to dry herself with sandpaper'. Fortunately, there were enough competing review to make those comments questionable, and we did order them. But to address that original posters comments -- I think he / she might've been trying to convey that these aren't the kind of towels you will find in the penthouse...
