A little annoyance for softness
My husband and I purchased these towels for ourselves. The dual colors look so nice in the picture, but when you actually see them, the towels look very dull and are not as attractive as we thought they would be. They are very soft which is great and I washed them before we used them. They did pill a lot. We both noticed that we each were picking a few tiny particles of towel cotton off of our hair. Then we noticed there were little particles of the towel on the floor after drying off. Maybe that is normal, and it is lessening with each wash, but it is a little annoying. I'm just glad we didn't get the set with the hand towel and washcloth. Maybe we should have purchased the towels that had a white stripe with a color. At least they wouldn't look so dull. But they probably would have had the same shedding problem. Sometimes it's hard to purchase certain items when you haven't had any prior experience with them. I'm I keeping the towels? ohhhhh...di luxury
I was sooooo happy when I bought this 2 piece towel set...I'm planning on getting more but this seller just has these stripes design. They are big and luxurious, comfortable and just a delight (yup, I'm saying this about towels...LOL..forgive me, I enjoy the simple things much too mcuh at times). I've had them for almost a year and wash them often (no dryer) and they are still nice and plush. The price was good and delivery on time.
Only One Problem
These towels are full-sized and very comforting. Our only problem is that our kids keep sneaking them out of the dryer for their own use.

Perfect for Facials
I purchased this set and was very pleased. I got them to go with my towel warmer. The description should read Terry washcloth - the Face towel set is misleading because they are only a little bigger than the washcloths that I own. Didn't matter to me because I love them. Thick and soft and perfect for what I wanted them for. I save a lot of money now doing my own facials.

False Advertising
The tag on these washcloths says "86% cotton, 14% polyester made in Pakistan". They are not luxury cotton, edges poorly finished, threads hanging, they are thin and were not wrapped, thrown in a brown box, and they do not look like the picture I would suggest not making the same mistake and either buy cheap ones or spend the few extra bucks to buy them from someone else.

I'm very happy with the quality of these washcloths. They are really soft and fluffed up nicely after washing. The only thing that's weird is the tag on each washcloth is HUGE... other than that, I love them!

Best Towels I Ever Got!
I did some searching around for some towels for the house. Wasn't looking for fancy colored-printed towels.
I went to Amazon and found these Bath Towels-Commercial Quality. I liked the idea that it comes bundled and you get 8ct.
I ordered these and after I got them, they are what they say, commercial quality, like the kind you see in hotels. They dry faster in the dryer than a normal colored towel would. I liked them so much, I completed my set by buying the matching Hand Towels and Wash Cloths. Thank you Amazon.

Sure surprised me
I purchased these feeling that the price i paid would result in a rather cheap product....fooled me. These are quite well made and absorb well. I've washed these about 10 times and so far they hold up very well. For the price I would buy these again.

Embarrassed to give this as a gift!
I ordered these towels given the reviews and the fact that the description states super plush and absorbant... These towels are paper thin, not plush in any way! I believe that the other reviews came from the seller because by no stretch of the imagination are these towels something you'd find in a fancy hotel unless you call the Super 8 a fancy hotel! I purchased these towels as a Christmas gift for my aunt and now don't have time to return them and buy something else on here. There is no way that I would have EVER purchased these paper thin cheap towels had I have known! I am pretty ticked at the false representation of these towels. Save yourself, go to Wally World and get the cheapest thing, they will be thicker than these!!! I laugh that the seller says these are worth over $100!!! haha... Poor fool that would spend that kind of money on these... Did I mention that I am SO DISAPPOINTED with this purchase!!!

Make sure you want it! Lousy return
The towels were not as thick as I anticipated and the color (sage) was not as bright as shown in the picture. By the time I returned the towels, I was out $24 from shipping and return shipping. Ouch. Then, I had to call after over a month of returning it to get my refund. They had received it but had not issued the refund. Never again.
Great towels
The towels looked exactly liked shown on Amazon. There're very soft and absorbant with a great solid feel...not too thin. No lint or stringing. They feel to me like expensive towels you would find in the better hotels.

My wife and I love them. We bought one set and liked them so much we bought 3 more. The only thing I don't like is you have to buy a whole set of 6 towels when you may only want 4 more face towels, etc.

Remember to wash first (add in some white vinegar) and don't ever use fabric softners.

Pure Bamboo Towels
I bought a set of these towels and they are as soft as others have said they are. Super light weight, but surprisingly they do not dry quickly after use. They also tend to smell a little musty after a few uses. Granted, I live in Seattle where everything has a sheen of mold over it all the time, but I am a little surprised that they don't dry quicker than my larger, thicker cotton towels. I would be interested to know why this might be...Someone suggested that I was using too much 'detergent' - I use only natural plant based cleaners and only in modest amounts, so I think it's because the towels just don't dry as quickly.

The benefits and drawbacks of bamboo
This is the third towel I've gotten from Amazon: I've purchased the Pinzon 800 gram towel which is 70% rayon made from bamboo and 30% cotton; and the Pinzon Luxury 820-Gram Cotton Bath Towel made of Turkish cotton. I don't think my taste in towels is that unusual: I like a thick, soft, absorbent towel. This Pure Fiber towel is a clear third in comparison to the other two towels. Bamboo towels are soft, the reference to cashmere is understandable. But, this towel is thin with just average absorbency. My favorite of the three towels is the 800 gram towel (which, for some reason, Amazon no longer carries. It has the softness of bamboo with the thick, luxurious feel and absorbency of good cotton. If you like an extremely soft towel and like thin towels, you will like this Pure Fiber towel. But if you like a thicker towel with greater absorbency, this is probably not the towel for you.
Soft and silky towels
These towels are a delight. They are so very, very soft. Absorption is great and they are a good weight. We have very thick cotton/bamboo towels that are lovely, but I'm tired of having to dry them for an hour or two. These are perfect.

Can you get any cheaper looking?
The pictures do not tell a thousand workds on these items. Not the towels, not the bath mat. It looked like something your blind grandmother would sew together. The terry cloth is cheap and the "sparkles" are just silver disks, thrown onto a black cheap cloth then sewn on two sides. It was hiddeous. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

I am going to use these towels for decoration only, they look very chic not as thick as I would have liked them to be,but then again the slender fabric made it lay better on the racks in my bathroom. my bathroom looks like a rockstar.. it rocks with my black and rhinestoned accessories on the walls of my black and white bathroom walls, black sink and black toilet. I feel like a celebrity everytime I enter the room. Ahhhhh!!! Was thinking about buying the rugs but think I will add the color red instead to brighten things up!!
Great Decorative Towels!
Perfect accent piece for the Caprice bathroom set! The cotton is very soft.. the sequins are a bit scratchy on the hands but I don't plan to use them as actual bath towels.. They will be perfect to use as hand towels. I haven't washed them yet but I'm sure they will turn out great if I follow the wash instructions.

LOVE these towels, another great product~
I love these towels. I bought the grey and the light blue set. As soon as I got them I opened the compostable bag (!!! really I give you props for thinking about that! All other products are always wrapped with this heavy plastic)and I was in love with the quality. These towels are the perfect thickness; they don't have the waxy texture that repels water so these absorb very well. I have tried a lot of towels, especially because I practice Bikram Yoga, and some towels loose their absorbancy and flufiness. I have been using these for a couple of months now and these towels have not fallen appart. They remain new like the day I received them! Another great product by the Magnolia family. :)!!

Very nice towels for the price.
I have to lean more toward the 5-star reviewer vs the 1-star; these towels are big, fluffy and absorbent-- exactly as described. I'm not sure what's eating at the 1-star person but perhaps if you invested in one of these new indoor washers vs beating them against rocks and ringing them out before hanging them on the line, you wouldn't be getting the unraveling. Mine are still perfect after 2 washes. As for 'made in Pakistan', try finding towels (or most any other fabric) that's not made in Asia.
By the way, Walmart is the anti-Christ. Shop there are your peril.

Love these towels
These towels were very soft and comfortable. It was nice to finally purchase a quality towel for our bathroom. My wife and I love them!
These are not PLUSH!
They are as thin as a kitchen towel. There is no plushness to them. You
could take a rag and do a better job of drying you off.

I was expecting
a towel with volume and there is none. What a rip off. I mean if you
want to dry yourself off with a rap, have at it. The color is nice. The
service was fast.

But it left you high and dry. Do not order these towels, money down the drain.

Even after washing, they still shed lint all over your body, so you have to
spend half a day, brushing them off. They are made in Pakistan! Of all
places! And they hate our guts and we are paying them for it.

Good Value / Good Towel
I bought some of these for Christmas last year as my wife complained she wanted to swap out all of our bath linens w/ white ones so we could bleach the heck out of them and keep them clean. I looked at "good" towels and almost swallowed my tongue at the price. I'm a guy...I'll use an old shirt to dry off after a shower...or even drip-dry if necessary. So, I ordered these with mediocre expectations. So far - the wife and I have been pleased with them. They're basically the same kind of towel you'd get at a Holiday Inn or equivalent hotel/motel. I recently ordered another bundle of the bath towels and some hand towels and wash cloths. If you have money to burn and need designer, 3-gajillion-thread-count towels...these are not the towels for you. Thats what I thought. Until I ordered a set of these Martex and a set of the "all of the above" towels. These towels are a great price and a great towel. I feel robbed by spending all that money on the fancy high-priced rayon/bamboo towels.

The Martex are thick and heavy. Soft, but not super-soft. I found out that I don't really like the "super-soft." It's akin to going to a really fancy restaurant and ordering piece of meat with a fancy name and you find out you would have been better off saving $$ and going to get a good old-fashioned juicy steak at your favorite place.
Plain, durable white towels made with honest craftsmanship, at a reasonable price
My goal was to purchase plain, durable white towels made with honest craftsmanship at a reasonable price. To me, the idea of a 'hospitality towel' translated that perfectly.

We purchased (12) bath towels and (12) hand towels, and so far are extremely pleased.

When initially contemplating the purchase of these towels, I had a variety of concerns based on some of the feedback/comments I found here. I'd like to address those in an effort to be helpful to others.

One poster made some comments that these towels were rough and/or not soft enough. That spurrned an brief inter-family debate with my wife, who immediately complained that she 'didn't want to dry herself with sandpaper'. Fortunately, there were enough competing review to make those comments questionable, and we did order them. But to address that original posters comments -- I think he / she might've been trying to convey that these aren't the kind of towels you will find in the penthouse...
